San Diego Comic Con Info!

AMC has finally unleashed all of the details of their presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, which includes previously-announced panels for Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, and Preacher. But now, we have cast information (and also information on this year’s offsites!).

We’ll start with the offsites, which include the also-previously-announced Better Call Saul season premiere red carpet event on Thursday, July 19. It will be held at the UA Horton Plaza starting at 6:30PM. The screening will be closed to the public with the exception of the contest winners.

Fans of The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead can get excited about the return of Dead Quarters, AMC’s zombie fan zone located on Martin Luther King Promenade, in front of the Hilton Gaslamp Hotel (4th Avenue and L Street, across from the convention center). This year’s offsite will feature an immersive experience with a curated walk through the settings of both series, including The Sanctuary, and a “thrilling 22-foot Zombie slide” inspired by the one from Fear The Walking Dead. There will also be photo opportunities with the walker composter, and Negan’s flaming Lucille.

You can also stop by Booth #4237 to get a look at The Walking Dead: Our World, AMC and Next Games’ new location-based, augmented reality mobile game. Convention attendees will get to play the game, which will include a special “Comic-Con Special Encounter” set up only for the convention. It will reward players with guaranteed “Rare” or “Epic” characters from the series to add to your collection within the game.

There will also be an autograph signing for Fear The Walking Dead on Friday, July 20 from 9:30AM-10:30AM, and The Walking Dead on Friday, July 20 from 1:45PM-2:45PM. The signing will take place in the Autograph Area.

AMC Announces the Second Half of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4 to Return on Sunday, August 12

[via press release from AMC]

NEW YORK, NY – June 11, 2018 – AMC’s original series “Fear the Walking Dead” will return for the second half of season four, consisting of eight episodes, on Sunday, August 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, as announced during last night’s “Talking Dead.” Critics have said “Fear’s” fourth season has “completely changed the game,” “… is deserving to be praised as one of the best shows on television, (Comicbook.com.), “feels like it’s been given a second life” (Hypable.com), and “has knocked me off the couch” (TV Line.com), among other critical acclaim.

The first half of season four began with one figure huddled around a campfire, and ended with nine. Characters who started their journeys in isolation collided with each other in unexpected ways and found themselves in one of the last places they ever expected to be…together. In the back half of the season they will explore who they are now – as individuals and as part of the greater group – and how they will forge ahead. They will find themselves pitted against new adversaries – human, walker, and even nature itself. Theirs will be a journey wrought with danger, love, heartbreak, loss, and ultimately, hope.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero, and produced by AMC Studios. The series stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace and Jenna Elfman.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is the #3 drama on cable among adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 in Nielson live+3 ratings.
